Art Week at Mt Roskill Intermediate

Our hall exhibition
We had Art Week at our school where we could make and do lots of different Art activities.
Some of the activities were string art, wearable art, henna design, tapa cloth making, sculptures and Mondrian Art and stone carving.  It was really amazing looking at what people made.

We set up all the artwork in the hall for the exhibition so our parents could come and see what we did for art week.
Our group painted the wall in the Library.
We got the idea from the Dutch painter Piet Mondrian. We painted blue, yellow, red, white and black squares and rectangles with black lines.

The wall looks wonderful. It is bright and colourful. We feel really proud of it.
